Great Basin Resources Inc. (GBR) is a privately held natural resource company founded after the breakup of MinQuest Inc. in 2017. GBR owns or has an interest in several precious, base metal and lithium properties in the western U.S. with a majority located in Nevada. It is continuing to acquire additional projects. The Company has a royalty interest in the Moss Mine in Arizona and in a Nevada project (Longstreet) which is currently being permitted for production. The remainder of GBR’s properties either have resources or strong indicators of potential resources. The Company’s business model is to lease/option properties to mineral exploration companies and retain a royalty interest.
In addition, GBR manages exploration programs for both its lessees and non-related clients. This work normally involves a complete geologic appraisal including land status and acquisition, mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysics, drilling, and resource estimation. Past exploration programs managed by Richard Kern (Sr.) brought the Fire Creek, Nevada and Moss, Arizona projects to production.
